It’s often the little things that pose the greatest barriers to weight loss.
Here’s some tips to help you through:

Before you start, go through all your cupboards and refrigerator and get rid of
all the junk food and snacks that you know are unhealthy and may tempt you.

If you have a family, ask them to hide them from you.

Stock your refrigerator and cupboard with things that are healthy and low in
fat and in sugars

Have a plan already made for snack attacks: ie cut up veggies with a herb low
fat dip, fruit, lowfat yogurt, unsweetened applesauce or fruit puree

In restaurants keep your eye open for healthy alternatives, many menus will
show you healthy or Heart Smart choices

Reward yourself with a non-food prize when you successfully made it through a
high calorie event.
